1. Who we are

Skirbi.ai is a writing assistant for Aruban Papiamento — helping speakers check, create, translate, and improve their writing. We are based in Aruba.

Anonymous session token — a random ID stored in a browser cookie (skirbi_uid) to track daily usage limits. It contains no personal information.
Usage events — mode used (check/chat/create/translate), text length, response latency, and whether AI was involved. Text you submit is not stored after processing.
Account data (optional) — if you create an account: your email address, encrypted password (handled by Supabase Auth), and your plan.

Supabase — database and authentication, hosted in the EU (Frankfurt). Data is encrypted at rest.
Anthropic Claude — AI processing. Text you submit may be sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. Anthropic does not train models on API inputs. See anthropic.com/privacy.
Vercel — hosting and edge infrastructure. Standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) are retained for 30 days.
Stripe (when billing is active) — payment processing. We never store card details.

We use one first-party cookie (skirbi_uid) for usage tracking. It expires after 30 days. No third-party tracking cookies are set.

You may request deletion of any account data by emailing hola@skirbi.ai. Anonymous session data cannot be linked to you after the cookie expires.

We may update this policy as the product grows. Significant changes will be noted at the top of this page with an updated date.
